Description
Mount Styles
- Garden Mount - 2-piece 60" garden mount includes stabilizing ground stake.
- Roof mount - Adjustible, but made to a 4/12 roof pitch. Includes a 15" rod.
- Deck Mount - mounts to a flat board or any horizontal surface. For example: deck board. Approx. 3" x 3" and includes the 15" rod.
- Post Mount - mounts to the side of a fence of vertical board. Approx. 3"x3" and includes the 15" rod.
- Gazebo/Cupola Mounts - The 3 and 4 sided mounts are for similar applications. Order the 3 sided mount for 3 or 6 sided peaks. Order the 4 sided mount for 4 or 8 sided peaks.
Installation:
Roof, Deck, Post or Cupola Mount: Install to your mounting surface. Place short rod into tubing of mount. Tighten set screw provided on mount.
Garden Mount: Drive silver ground rod half way into ground. Place 60" garden mount over top of rod. If rod is not used, push garden mount a minimum of 12" into ground to desired height.
Adding your weathervane ( Not Included)
Slide the directional (NSEW) over tip of rod. Set N to North and tighten set screw. Place wincups over tip of rod ( bearing side facing DOWN). Slide top on your weathevane.
Maintenance:
EZ Vane weathervanes are crafted from 14 ga CRS Steel and built to last. 3 protective coatings prevent rust and fading. Periodically place a few drops of light oil on the top of the pole to ensure that the design top will turn freely. Overtime, you may need to replace the sealed ball-bearing which allows your windcups to spin freely within the wind.
