From the information that I had when I ordered I thought I did not think the "house" was a shell. I received a photo of my granddaughter sitting on the floor with the house, gnomes, other items in front of her...I felt bad because I could see that it was a "shell", nothing more than a "facade". My granddaughter did not have a beaming smile on her face which I expected to see. I thought I had a great idea with the gnomes but the house and other items such as tools, bridge, stream, particularly the house looked cheap and I was disheartened. Sorry but that is the truth.
